How long should the vinegar and water solution be left on bare aluminum
before priming with zinc chromate primer? Also do I need to redegrease after the vinegar. And do I have to scuff the primer before top coating with epoxy
primer/ paint. I'm using napa 7222 zincrom primer and there aren't much in the way of directions on the can such as dry time or prep for topcoat.

Bryan basically you just wipe it down with the Vin/water solution and once dry go ahead with the Zinc. You dont need to sand the Zinc and dont do a heavy coat of it pretty much just a heavy dusting of the Zinc is all thats needed . I also used the Napa 7222 and havent noticed any issues .
