How many rpms should I be running?

I have a 2002 150 yamaha Vmax and I was wondering how many rpms I should be running with it wide open.

somewhere close to 5500 RPM.
in the future post the model number as the V150 was made in a VX and a VZ configuration and they are two totally different engines.
