Re: how much for three inch exhaust
i have a 1986 liberator with a 5.7 litre mercriuser alpha one outdrive...it came from the factory with stock 3 inch thru hull exhaust....i have the motor out (total rebuild)and am installing new exhaust manifolds, risers, Y pipe, and corsa exhaust diverters....exhaust diverters are only available in four inch diameter....i called corsa company and he claimes they made three inch for one year and had issues with water reversion back into the motor????? beats me, all i know is since iam buying new manifolds , risers and corsa 4 " i might as well use 4 inch tips....i really want the option to silent my motor when i want and have it loud when i want and i put it in the rebuild budget...mayb i will just scrap em stainless steel is $.75 a pound...i have the same pipe as in the photo in four inch and am going to fabricate my own tips and associated parts via tig welder...gotta love it LOL
hi all...i am replacing my three inch exhaust with four inch and am going to sell what i had intendinded on installing...there r two three inch tips,four three inch stainless steel pipes(i was gonna expieriment to see wich two held a polish better) and 23 ss hose clamps...i will need to apply the proceeds to the purchase of four inch tips...any ideas on how much to sell them for on ebay???thanks in advance
