how much petrol for JohEv 6hp.two stroke

hi.Im intresting in fuel consumpion of my Jo6hp of 73y.
Who knows how much petrol for JohEv 6hp.two stroke should it burn at low speed and in full speed.

Full speed should be about 0.6 US Gallons per hour.

At low speed, you use hardly any fuel. When I'm on the Mississippi River with mine on my little 12 aluminum boat, I keep the engine running at idle the entire time, usually in neutral. I do that so I can quickly put it in gear if a barge or other large boat passes by, so I can orient the boat quickly to take the wake. I also use the engine frequently to hold position in the current or to move short distances.

I was out for four hours the last trip, using the engine at full throttle for only a short time. I started with a full 3 gallon tank. When I hauled out, there was still 2 gallons in it.

I rarely run at full throttle for more than about 10 minutes, so I can't tell you how much fuel it uses at full throttle. But a 3 gallon tank is going to last a long, long time.

I have a 6hp yachtwin on a 19ft sail boat. It is a bit more powerful than a '73 6hp because they changed the method of measuring the power so presumably it uses a bit more fuel.

I was nearly caught out by how much it used when I first had it

Just running at little more than a fast idle I reckon it uses nearly 1/2 UK gallon per hour. I swapped the original 11.4 litre tank for a 25 litre (6.6 US gallon, 5.5 UK gallon) one so that I had enough fuel for a weekend trip even when there was no wind.

it only runs at high speed crossing shipping channels or against a foul tide

Best advice is to try it and determine for yourself how much fuel you will use.

I always carry a 5 litre reserve can as well if I am going far.

Hi.
Yesterday i run my Jo with boat with weight about 80kg and 4.5 m long for 3 hours in differents speed( low and full speed)but averange it was half of spped range and 6-8 liter petrol was missing.I think averange consumption is 3 liter per hour in half speed range.Is it correct consumption?
Last fishig sezon I used 4hp Seahorse and I think its lighter engin and consumpion was les then Jo6hp.
Maybe thats the mater of rings on pistons.I have spere powerhad and in next manth I"ll replace powerhad.

2.3 L/hr is about right for your 6HP motor @ WOT.

how much consumption of petrol in this models-i'm asking about consumption in averange speed per 1 hour.

3.6 L/hr @ WOT, less in mixed use.
