Hi folks,<br /><br />I have a lower end leak and have managed to determine that at least part of it is due to driveshaft seals.<br /><br />I've removed the seal housing, and now the driveshaft seems to have an awful lot of play - up and down, right to left, and side to side.<br /><br />Also, when I spin it by hand I hear a "whirring" sound coming from the gearcase. Normal, or problem?<br /><br />I was banging on my stuck impeller pretty hard in order to get to this point, could I have done some damage?<br /><br />Thanks!<br />Paul
