How much epoxy resin and fiberglass would a person use to re-do a floor and/or stringers on a 27 ft. boat?

I would hate to get in the middle of doing the repair, and run out of resin and glass!

H.

you can't use more than a gallon ata time if you buy i locally you can by more when runnin' low.. if you order ... i'd say 5 gallons... it's a lot but still goes fast.. plus it's cheaper that way..

Homerr,

I am re-glassing 18ft Mitchell, Including transom, stringers, deck (both sides), have already used 5+ gallons, on second 5 gal.

Decided when glassing in stringers to glass inside of hull to provide more hull thickness, used cross stitched matt. Instead of solid stringers, laminated 3/8ths plywood with a layer of glass in between each layer to get 1" thickness. Original stringers were 3/4".

Using epoxy, bought from boat builder supplier.

Will post pic history on my web site, not running yet.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

emp.

Thanks for the replies..

I'm gonna re-do the whole works in mine...
Stringers, floor etc..

I'm guessing 10 gallons at most, but then again..
I go overkill on everything!

H.
