How much to ship a boat?

I'm looking for a little bit of a faster hull to replace my CV-16, although I think I'm going to keep my 150hp inline 6 outboard. What I really really want is a hydrostream hull...but I know when buying a 30 year old boat it's hard to find exactly the one you want. I'm thinking I might have to buy one in another state...how much can I expect it to cost to ship a small hull? Let's say maybe 2000 miles or less...

Typical shipping runs about $1/mile, ZmOz.

you would probably be better off getting a trailer and going to get it yourself if you can do it.

Call a car carrier company, but it will need to be on a trailer. I moved one from California to Ohio for $800.00
