How much will this crack cost to fix and how to fix?

I shipped a boat from another country to here and when it arrived; i noticed it's got a big crack. Please see pic and appreciate if you can give me pointers and how much it costs to fix.

Welcome to iboats.

You can grind it out and use fiberglass to repair it and then fair it out (smooth the edges) and then repair with gelcoat.

If you do the job yourself ....probably under $150-$200 out of pocket for supplies.

First find the ends of the crack and drill a small pilot hole so the crack will not possibly further wander internally from vibration later and reappear. The round end from from the hole will stop the crack dead in its tracks for the future.

Thats hull failure, the rubrail is dislodged, the hull twisted and cracked open.
Might be stringer damage too, theres more than meets the eye. But it will require exploration to find out, have any boatyard take a look or a surveyor.
I see structrual damage, not cosmetic damage.

that wouldn't be from that strap pulling down on that one spot and dislodging the cap from the hull right there and causing the damage would it? It looks like the rub rail is just held in place by an adhesive.
