How much?

I have recently repowered and upgraded. I want to sell my old motor and usually use ebay to set a starting price, but there are hardly any outboards on there right now. It's a 1990 90hp Evinrude with power tilt and trim in good shape. The controls will go with it. What do you guys think it is worth in the REAL world. I am not going to sell it on Ebay if I dont have to, just want to get an idea what it's worth.

I think it would be a good idea to look around at other motors comparable to yours and see what they have starting prices at. That would give you a good starting point on pricing yours. you can type in your motor in a search engine and see if there are any others listed for sale. It sounds like a nice motor and would easily start at a grand.

i watch ebay and craigslist everyday. bigger motors have taken a big hit in prices. realistically $1,000-1200 atmost. i really suggest you try craiglist in your area, more seem to be moving there than ebay. buy the way that is a powerhouse of a motor.

Thanx guys, I have been checking and did notice the prices have dropped. I may wait awhile to see what happens.
