How often should I replace impellar housing on 1973 Johnson?

I last replaced the water impellar and the impellar housing on my 1973 Johnson/Evinrude Starflite 115393 two years ago. I haven't used the boat as much as I would like, but its time to replace the impellar before it fails. Since I replaced the housing two years ago, would it be ok for me to replace only the impellar? Approximately, how often should I change the impellar housing and any seals, screws, bushings?

Can I asume you installed the plastic housing with stainless liners? If you did, no need to replace it again under normal useage.

Yay! That is exactly what I replaced the old housing with two years ago.
