How should I rest my Zodiac on a trailer. should I have the pontoons sitting on bunks and the transom. I have a Mercury 17.5 foot with a honda 50hp on the back. the motor is a fair bit of weight. I have a transom saver. I am just wondering the best way to support the weight of the boat and motor..
Thanks for your help..

If having a sib, a bunk trailer is the way to go for better overall tube support, don't use a rib trailer, the ones that have 2 wooden rails facing each other. 50 HP is a heavy engine, so, have that sib inflated to at least 3.0 psi when trailering, use the transom saver bar if the trailer doesn't have a lateral horizontal support at lower transom area like these samples.
