I have a 1990 90 hp Evinrude which, come spring, will have a rebuilt powerhead. How soon after the rebuild should I do a decarb, and how often should it be done after the first time? I want to be sure I do this soon and often enough--I learned a painful lesson about not decarbing--carbon buildup caused a ring to break, and I don't want that to happen again. Thanks.
