Recently found out that my exhaust manifold gasket blew. I'm not big into engines but usually can figure things out on my own. How hard would this job be to do for myself as an inexperienced mechanic? Does anyone have a video of how to do it? Thank You!

Don't know of a video but could look at you tube to check

Replacing the gasket is easy enough. Knowing what year can help because there were some variations thru the years. Its basically remove everything that is connected to it, then it can be removed. Can get into more detail once we know the year

What and where is it leaking?

other than the manifold weighing a fair bit, the job is easy.

make sure the head and manifold surface is clean and straight

re-assembly tip

get some long 3/8" bolts (about 8" long) your new gasket will have a few holes that are slotted and open on the bottom. use the long bolts to align the manifold on those two holes. then simply drop the gasket on from above. makes assembly easier than trying to hold the manifold, gasket and bolts

the 3.0 should have 3 studs already in the head remove the exaust coupling or elbow, remove the fuel line and linkage from carb, remove nuts an bolts, slide off
