how to change the hose conector on out drive 270

how i can replace the hose conector on a 270 outdrive.. do I have to remove the upper gear to get to this hose conector or i just need to remove the bellows from below? thank you in advance

If you are talking about the raw water hose fitting then yes, removing the uper gear box is the only way to make it accessible. Then might as well replace the drive bellows as well. I would also think about replacing the hose also.

Okay thank you for your reply,,, I just ordered the part so I think now I need to wait for the new hose as well as raw water getting to my flywheel I might put new seals on the drive shafts as well... So I think I have a lot work ahead of me ;(
