What do you mean by 'service manual specified timing tools'?

You will need a timing light and a way of measuring piston position (for setting up the pointer). That's all.

Chris...............

This particular engine doesn't have a timing pointer, also since the ignition system is a magneto, the magneto also has to be timed, there fore requiring specific tools to measure btdc. From what I can tell basically the instruments are just dial indicators. Which i do not have, or have access to.

thank-you

DMlane
