1989 mariner ,75 hp, ob371712, how can i check power pack, had this with old motor,same symptoms,she turn over but apparently not firing. any help would be appreciayed. thanks rbass
Tough one unless you have special equipment....<br /><br />Usually the best way is to check for peak voltage going into the pack and if that checks out ok and nothing comes out of the coil leads, it's most likely the pack or trigger as the fault..<br /><br />Both the stator and trigger leads can be ohmed out also...
