How to clean gas tank

Hello all...I just bought a bayliner cierra 2651 and its been sitting for 2 years....I feel i should clean the fuel tank but aside from removing the tank, dumping, adding more gas, swishing around and dumping again.....There must be a better way, maybe even one that doesnt require removing the tank? Any Thoughts?

I wouldnt go looking for problems that may not exist. If you dont have a good Racor style fuel filter, install one. If the tank level is low, fill her up and go boating. If the fuel level is high, siphon it off, add fresh fuel, and go boating.

You could throw money at it. Hire a fuel polishing/tank cleaning service. Google Marine tank cleaning, fuel cleaning, fuel polishing, things like that. Some come right to your dock.
