how to convert 4cl sterndrive to a 6cl

Have a 270 volvo stern drive with a AQ170a 6cl and have the opotunity to purchace a working 270 volvo stern drive but from a AQ130 4cl engine.<br />1]can you interchange the drive parts and use for parts only? Are they the same?<br /><br />2]What if any thing would I have to change/gear ratio/where?<br /><br />3]Would it be worth buying at all? can get for under 200.00 complete.<br /> Thanks Fish

Hi fish393,<br /><br />270 is 270, some had different ratios, some had hydraulic trim (hens teeth) but all parts are interchangable. A complete and working 270 leg for $200.00 is gold. If you don't want it, send it to me - seriously.<br /><br />Aldo
