How To Determine If Motor Is 305 Or 350

I am going to look at a parts boat saturday Id be buying it for just the motor dumping the rest the guy does not know if its a 305 or a 350 and says the serial number on bellhousing isnt there. So how exactly can i tell if its a 305 or a 350? Hoping its a 350 below is pic of motor.

Look for the block casing numbers, this is how to find the casting locations for SBC

Also can look at the label on ignition module will have the engine size on it. It is a 96 or newer vortec so boat likely had a repower at one point

So long as the module has not been replaced. Could be a 305 with 350 module

Port side will have displacement cast in the motor. Casting numbers on block may be easier to get to

My 1997 wellcraft had tank in that spot also yea it is empty the rest of the boat is basically **** only buying it for the trailer and motor since it runs good once i confirm its a 350 guy is selling it crazy cheap.

Its the way the 357 alpha and bravo reman engines are set up

casting # should be on back near where bell housing connects. May be difficult to find with all the wires and hoses.
