How to disconect overheating sensor on 93' 40 hp

The overheating sensor is faulty, how can i disconect it without messing up the engine. No i dont care about a little annoying horn to tell me im overheating.

So without the alarm how would you know it was overheating? And how do you know the sensor is faulty? It could be the module itself that also sounds the oil injection system alarms. That sensor is not a budget breaker. A heck of a lot cheaper than a new power head.

Nahh - - You will know when the engine overheats when it slows down, locks up with busted pistons and requires an overhaul. Why would you want to miss that fun?

You might get really lucky and have a piston seize good and a rod comes out of the side of the block and says Hello!!
