How to edit a post title

I've seen it asked quite a few times over the past few days so hopefully I can help out.

Go to the very first post of your new thread and click the edit button

In the edit post window that opens click the advanced options button

1. Change your thread title to what you wanted
2. Click the Save Changes button

Done

This fixes your title on the main list of threads. For the truly OCD: The posts that come in before you edit will remain titled wrong until your the last reply in line with the title you wanted. Then any more replies will carry the title of the reply they replied to. Clear as mud?

Once its been viewed by someone you can't change it only a Mod can.

Yep, They must of turned that option on.

On most vBulletin boards the Admin has that option turned off.
