Hello All,

I am wanting to replace the head in my cruiser, currently its an OLD marine mate porta potty that has been plumbed to be emptied via a dockside pump out port on the boat.

Id like to upgrade it to a new thetford model but judging from the illustrations in the owners manual, Im not sure if I can use the same plumbing to empty out the Thetford, as it appears that the thetford has to be taken apart and the holding part brought to the dock.

Im not sure so I thought that I would ask here and see if anyone would respond!

Certainly do appreciate the help!

Thanks,

I agree that their product descriptions ('makes deck pupouts a breeze!') vs what's shown in the online owners manuals can leave you scratching your head.

I do believe that the 'MSD' designated models will hook up to a deck pumpout right out of the box. I have a 735 MSD that's set up that way.

Best bet, though, is to call Thetford customer service and make sure.
