How to fix a chipped fiberglass hull?

I have a few chips in my fiberglass hull. The first one in the front of the boat (right above where the winch hold on the boat) has about a 2" diamerer chip that is about .5" deep. Can I fill it with something? The original owner told me he hit the winch too hard while trying to load his boat onto the trailer.

For the second chip, it is located on the right back side of the boat right where the strap holds the boat onto the trailer. This is a little chip that is about 1" and .25" deep.

Ooh, James...
I just went up to "search" and typed in 'fiberglass repair'. Before I hit the "stop" button, there were 179 returns. I'm sure there's an answer to your question in there somewhere!
Good luck!
Brian

Marine Tex will do both well. If you have never used it before I would suggest that you play with it a bit before putting it on the boat. It does sag until cured.
