I have read many posts and have come to the conclusion one should not fog a fuel injected engine through the air intake. A mechanic also told me not to fog into the cylinders and turn engine over as his could cause a hydrolock and cause internal damage. The same mechanic told me to put some Marvel Mystery oil into my fuel filter and run that through. I have decided to run my 4 stroke off an external tank of gas and 2 cycle oil mixed with a fuel stabilizer. Can anyone tell me the best ratio to use. I have read about 10:1 If I mix a gallon of gas and 16oz oil that is a 8:1 ratio. I am going to try this. What are the issues running a lower ratio. I have seen some posts at 3:1 Will the lower ratios burn hotter? Is it possibe to damage an engine? It is only running for 5 minutes to coat the cylinders. Thank you

Many ways to skin this cat but this will work: Add heavy dose of Seafoam to your fuel tank and run motor until it's in the entire system, remove spark plugs and spray fogging oil in each cylinder, crank motor over a few RPM's to coat cylinders, replace plugs. Good Luck!

dont forget to add stabilizer to the fuel tank and add crank case store-n-start,or its equivalent, to the engine oil before running your fogging mix.
biggest reason for the fogging mix is to protect the intake and ex valve stems and protect the high pressure fuel pump and injectors.
