How to fool a keylogger.....

I found this interesting. It's so simple I never thought of it. For those of you who don't know, keyloggers are hidden programs installed in computers by hackers who want to get your personal information. They log all of your keystrokes on your computer and either save them for the hacker to download from your machine when you are away from set up to remotely email them the file of your keystrokes after it's been created.

Yes it is interesting, but, I am constantly logging in and out of various places all day long, there is no way I could take time to do that, It probably would work for someone with the time. I work for a truck dealer and just cannot take that much time to do that. I am careful, I do a lot of checking to keep things like that from happening.

I might do that if I HAD to log in to an email or other account on an unknown computer. Thankfully, I never have to do that.

On a similar subject, never ever log into anything while you are on a public wireless network unless you log in with an https connection. I know at least Google and Facebook support it...not sure about yahoo.

I have to log in from wherever I am in the world to whatever connection is available. My laptop is pretty heavily secured and so far so good but it is always a nagging doubt at the back of my mind.

If you are on a WiFi, unless you are on a VPN, you are vulnerable when not using https.
