How to get better thrust from my trolling motor.....

Hi everyone, new to the forum..... Question regarding prop choice for my trolling motor, it's a 2004 8 hp 4 Stroke Johnson with original prop, my boat is a 2002 Wellcraft 180 Fisherman.... I've been looking at changing the prop to get a bit more thrust or torque to push the boat along better in rough water..... Have been looking at 4 bladed props as a step towards my goal.... Thanks in advance for any INFO.......

What size prop is on it now.
I think a 4 blade 7" pitch may help. It may let the motor rev a little more and 4 blades may add a little more control.
I think speed may end up about the same but may not fade as badly in the wind.

Thanks for the reply, i just looked at it for a local mechanic.... It's a 9 1/4 X 8 pitch.......
