Man, this stuff is on there permanately, hard as a rock. Dad had this boat (bass tracker) in the lake for about 3 years and there is a heavy buildup of calcium like scum... Also a lot of little white calcium like specs all over the hule....

What's the best stuff to get this crap off easily... And it's a riveted hule, so I don't want to cause myself any leaks...
Thanks...

If its calcium....use lime away or pure viniger and a 3m pad.....if its corrosion, fine stainless steel wire wheel used lightly and alumiprep afterwards then polish......

Howdy, KC.

I don't know if it is the BEST stuff, but I have had very good luck with ZAP in removing barnacles. Worth a try. Found it at Wal Mart.

Good luck. :)

FlyBoy, I've tried the lime away and it doesn't even fase it! But it sure looks like calcium, very hard stuff that is stuck on there good...

I have a pontoon boat and I use MARIKATE ALUMINUM HULL Cleaner. It works pretty good. I get mine from Boat US
