How to hide and support wiring on fiberglass hull

This may have been covered but my searches didn't find what I need. I added a trolling motor that integrates with my fishfinder, and I am trying to find a way to hide the wires up under the gunnels on our fiberglass boat. My searches for products turn up clamps that use screws to fasten to the boat, which I can't use, or zip-tie anchors that don't come with adhesive. Zip-ties would be great, but the 3M adhesive tapes I've tried don't stick to the rough fiberglass.

What do you recommend to stick to the fiberglass to fasten the wiring up out of site? This is pretty elementary, but I haven't found a good approach.

Get some PC-11 epocy and glue some 1”x1” blocks of 1/2” plywood up under the gunwales. Then use screws to fasten plastic cable holders to the blocks.

If you are looking for something on the real cheap, just tape the wires up temporarily and use some Gorilla Glue at spots along the way. When that cures, remove the tape and the wires are there to stay... Just another idea!

Thanks for the great suggestions - I like that the different approaches! I'm right in the middle of some sprinkler repair and changes in our lawn, so I have PVC to use, but I'm tired of working with PVC. LOL. I think I will start with the plywood squares idea. I can screw the cable clamps in before gluing the plywood to the boat, and that will give me more flexibility if I decide to run more wires in the future than gluing the wires with Gorilla glue.

The picture shows what I used. You also can cut strips of plastic milk jugs and fold them over in half and then drill hole for the screw. That works pretty well, too. This approach also has the advantage of making it easy to add/remove/replace wires.
