I have a 26 ft cuddy cabin, 351, stringer 800. I found a spare stainless prop berried in one of the many hiding holes. I wanted to try and ID it to see if it was the same as the one I was currently running? What should I look for?

May be a number in the area under the prop nut. Diameter x pitch.

I went out and looked at the prop that is on the boat now and it was stamped in the side. I will dig that stainless one out again and examin it closely.
The one thing i did notice is the prop on the boat now is a 14 1/2 x 17. seems alittle low. I think I will really run her up and see what she will do. I may be able to go to a 19 pitch..... the boat is a 26 ft cuddy cabin, 351w, stringer 800. What has worked well for others on a similar setup?
