OMC's ID code is the word INTRODUCES whereas each letter stands for a number (I=1, N=2 etc)

The model number of E15RCUD

E = Evinrude
15 = 15hp
R = Rope Start
C = 8
U = 7 ...... (8 & 7 = 1987)
D = Factory Run Number
