how to install a kill switch for a 1975 70hp motor

petef58 here and yall can Help me
I have a 1975 70hp evinrude motor and i need to put a kill switch on my boat.
can i hook it on the on the key switch or the motor. witch is better and witch switch is the better one to buy for working man tur Bassfishing.
