Re: How To Post Pics

Been There! Set your camera to take a smaller quality Pic. Usually there are about 5 and the 3 lower usually works. Use software to reduce the size of your pic. I use PhotoShop and all pics sized under 2 meg have worked, in window?s properties the pic will be much smaller. If needed, send the pic to a friend into computers and ask them to size it to less than 1 meg in win properties (or check the size limits that should show during the process). Good Luck!

Sign up for a Free Photobucket account. (Photo and image hosting, free photo galleries, photo editing). Upload your photos there. This has the added bonus of being a backup so should the unthinkable ever happen, namely your C drive crashes, you still have your pictures!

Now, once they're up there, simply copy the IMG Code line (there's a total of [4] links to use, you want the lowest one) and paste it directly into your post.

When you do so, it will turn out something like this...

I use PowerPoint to compress picture files then use Save As to save the compressed copy. If you have PowerPoint.

Why are you guys going through all this hassle to resize pictures in these other apps when all you have to do is load up the right click resize tool I posted in the other link? If anyone has XP still there is a Microsoft powertool you can download that also does it.
