That's pretty cool actually. I wonder what it cost 'em to do it?

Actually during the heavy winters around here we see quite a few of those setups, and even in the lighter years, the guys run tracks and skies on their ATV and UTV's

Its really nothing new, just unusual.Actually lets go back in time and you can find old pictures of model t,s with a similar setup. We tend to think a lot of the automotive advances are new but in reality there old just recycled or re-invented.Front wheel drive, fuel injection ,superchargers, etc all 1930,s tech or earlier! For those that are wondering what the heck it is its a smart car not a closed in atv or the likes so heat and stereo are all there, lol.Should do my f-150 up like that.I have a Polaris Ace and ive thought of that a bit MTboatguy were would you look for such a set up ,do you know?

Actually our local Polaris as well as the local Yamaha dealer sell track set ups for ATV/UTV, I looked at a set up for mine a few years ago and they are not cheap, but they can really help out when the conditions are really bad, I know at certain times of the year you can find quite a few of them on the big auction site as well.

I was thinking of exactly like the car in the pic,not tracks all around as I believe they would suck up too much power from my little motor.Your correct though , friend has tracks on a 400 ranger and it will go anywheres though slowly.

All you need is a set of universal tracks that have the correct bolt pattern for the hubs on your car, there are actually quite a few companies that make the track systems and they are pretty easy to convert to the car/truck or ATV you have.

There is a local tire shop that sells tracks for pretty much anything, even dirt bikes. They are pretty spendy though.
