Plan to replace my exhaust manifolds.
The manual states to re-torque the manifold bolts after the engine has reached normal operating temperature.
So, when re-torquing does one:
1. Loosen the bolts just ever so slightly before torquing them? or
2. Just torque them at the appropriate ft/lbs without easing the bolts at all?
Thanks,
34S.
