how to remove 65hp johnson

First big motor want to remove to check/reinforce transom. And repair wiring and amp that po ruined trying to jump start. Any and all advice appreciated like transom inspection etc...vxl15b i think will post pix if i can resize somehow

i moved my 70 off my boat with a friend but you must have the place ready to put it ,
or you can do it the right way with and engine hoist autumotive
put a sterring wheel puller on the thre bolts on flywheel and put strap or chain thru it

remove bolts thru transom and pickup motor its simple just heavy.
you may want to remove your controls and steering depending on how far
you have to move motor from boat

lower bolts are blind are they in inserts, looks like you can remove 2 upper bolts one each side and mount will seperate? not sure my pix are too big and i can't edit ??? vxl-14b

dont remove braket only take bolts from transom motor will come off
