How to remove carb from 1968 3.9hp

Cant figure out how to get the carb off. The choke lever blocks it from pulling off the bolts. The choke Lever dosent have room to be removed with the carb on. Is there some secret?

Here's a couple of ways. 4.5 is just an upgraded 3.9 so should be very close.
