How to remove Headlights from 1977 Datsun 280ZX?

Good day everyone,
How do you remove the head lights from a 1977 Datsun 280ZX? My dad just called me and said they don't work and this car he just brought has been sitting for a long while. Maybe both head lights are bad and need to be replaced. Now is it the complete head light assembly or is there a lamp that plugs into the back of the head light assembly? Let me know and he did check all the fuses he said and said they were good. Thanks for your help, Bob

They are round sealed beam headlights so the entire headlight must come out....... no bulb from the rear.

Could be corroded connectors, reachable from the rear. Try wiggling them with the lights on.
