How to remove impeller from shaft on 1989 Johnson 20 hp.

I just removed the water pump housing and couldn't get the impeller off of the shaft. The new impeller comes with an AY key. I don't see any kind of key or pin to hold the impeller in place on the shaft. What do I need to do to get the impeller off the shaft? I'm wondering if it's just seized up on the shaft or what's holding it on the shaft.

I don't know your particular motor, but there should not be anything holding it on except for time. Hammer, punch, oil, and patience should get it off.
