When I bought my boat it came with a wake tower attached. I decided I would remove the tower but have since been left with 4 1/2" holes where the tower was mounted. I would like to repair these myself if possible but looking for any advice to help with this.

This question can't be answered accurately without pictures. Post overall and close ups

What boat? Where are the holes located? Do you have access to both top and bottom? YUP, pics would tell the tale!!!

Boat is an 05 Stingray, holes are perfect half inch circles above the fender line. I do have access to both sides of the holes. Sorry I don't have pictures but will try to get some this weekend.

can you get to the backside? first thought is going thru the effort of patching and repairing. however the faster thought would be pick up a package of these http://www.mcmaster.com/#98164a540/=14s43e6 polish the head and bolt them in the holes with a nyloc on the back side. a bit of 5200 under the head will seal it. then go boating

Hole plugs sealed with 3m 4200 would be similar to SD's proposal and would be a quick and easy method...

If you wish to do a glass repair, I'd clean the back side glass and sand with 60 grit. Lay down two small patches of CSM on the inside. Then mix up some PB, fill the holes from the outside and finally mix some fairing material to fair and smooth the areas. Paint or Gelcoat would finish it off.
