The mighty donk is being reassembled and will soon be ready to start, which will be a day of joy or despair.

It's been re-ringed and cylinders honed, but otherwise is just being reassembled.

Is there anything special I should do to run it in?

Use double oil for the first 10 hrs. Vary the speeds at least every 15 minutes and do not troll with it or leave at an extended idle for the first 10 hours.

Have at it and enjoy, those old V4's are what I cut my teeth on, and even though they are not too fuel efficient, they have a sound all there own.

Make sure you are using the small hub 10 X 9 1/4" prop if it is on a 14-16' runabout.
