how to spray gelcoat

what type of gun is used to spray gelcoat. i have access to a hplv(or is it hvlp) gun, hoses, booth, compressors, etc....<br /><br />can gelcoat be sprayed through this type of compressor style of gun, i really think its called hplv.

Yes, you can shoot gelcoat with an HVLP gun. You need to make sure to use the right nozzle size.
