Hi all, how can I take this flywheel off? Can I just use a socket wrench or is there a special tool like a puller? There isn't any holes to mount the puller too.

Re: How to take off flywheel

Once you remove the nut you can take that "ring" off. Under that ring you will find 3 threaded holes that you can use to thread the bolts of your flywheel puller into. I use a cheap harmonic balance puller with GRADE 8 bolts, getting the correct bolts will keep them from breaking off.

I don't know what year that motor is, post that info and someone can tell you what size bolts you will need. All 4 of mine use 1/4-20 but different HP can use bigger bolts.

+1. You'll need to use a flywheel/harmonic balancer puller. You can get one at any auto parts store for about $15. You'll also want to use 3, 1/4" x 20, GRADE 8 bolts and washers, which you'll have to buy separately.
