I have a brand new 6000# loadrite trailer under my 25ft cabin cruiser, how do I tell if the trailer is strait? I was thinking a level on the tongue?

Measuring from the frame to the ground in a few places will give you a better Idea.........

Hook up to the tow vehicle. Park on a flat parking lot. Stand back 25 feet or so and eyeball it. Nothing needed except reasonable vision. Its either level, tongue low, or tongue high.

I'm with Upinsmoke. The eyeball is good enough. A level is too precise for this. You could spend significant time just locating a concrete pad large enough for your tow vehicle and boat, that would measure level.
