I want to hook up on board battery charger (attwood model 11900) I have two batteries and I have a perko dual battery switch. I checked forums and the chargers instructions and could not find out how to hook it up with dual batteries. don't know if I hook it up to one battery will it charge both and what position battery switch should be in. its way to much above my knowledge. Thanks:facepalm:

There is no way to hook it up to switch ?. seems like a pain to unhook it and hook it up to other battery everytime.

Re: how to wire battery charger

hmmm ..........The item you bought is not realy a charger its a maintainer at 1.5 amps and to be honest that will struggle with one battery. so what i would surgest and i know this will sound bad but go to bass pro and get a larger single battery or a dual battery charger something like a 5/5 (dual is alot better). Unless the 2 batteries are matched in size type and age i would not leave them linked together on a small amp charger.

The attwood model 11900 would be perfect to hook to a single battery then plug in and leave for the winter
