Remove the cover. On the distributor or ignition side there will be two control cables with quick-connect fittings. The top one is the shift cable. Remove the quick-connect from the ball end. Now, push the shift lever forward or backward until the cam depresses the white button on the brown neutral interlock switch. This will be neutral.
