I have a 15 and a half aluminum with my 40 on it and it moves really quite well...seems almost too big for the boat weight wise....getting to the point here i am looking at a fully welded aluminum boat. The boat itself is made entirely from 3/16th aluminum nickel stuff (i'm no metalurgist but it's some kind of fancy aluminum).
It is 17.5' long with a 90" beam or width. I am not sure as to how well my 40 will push that boat. The factory says they weigh 800 lbs. I know a few guys that run these henley boats and they all hang 90 hp hondas off the back. I can afford the boat but not a big fancy motor.
What do yall think?
