how would I know if my gimbal bearing is going out?

I have mag 454 alpha 1. When I put it in the throttle only position and rev the motor it sounds real loose. Almost a loud vibration sound coming from the rear of the motor.

Could also be the ujoints. Pull the drive and check the ujoints and the gimbal bearing for roughness.
