I have a small cargo trailer that will sit out unused all winter. Thinking of just jacking it up to take weight off tires. Think thats all I need to do? Any advantage to covering tires with black garbage bags to protect from uv rays, snow, etc. ? Thanks for any help, a t

Sounds like a plan to me, thumbs. I like covering the tires.

I usually try to raise the tongue as high as I can so that water will shed. Snow is going to pile in there no matter what (unless you cover it) but by raising the tongue at least when it melts it will run of more than soaking in.

DougV>

I park my truck outside year round and the sun hasn't ruined them yet. You probably could just park your trailer for the season and be just fine.

Jeff
