He must be a real fool! Every one knows that only Clinton can get away with that lying stuff.Originally posted by Vlad D Impeller:
Libby will probably do a short spell in prison, he did lie to the grand jury, what a stupid thing for anyone to do, he should've known that and should have been prepared....
Everyone knows that the Clintons are above the law, come on???Originally posted by RubberFrog:
Every one knows that only Clinton can get away with that lying stuff.
Former Independent Counsel Joseph diGenova said Wednesday that new information that in the Leakgate case has cast so much doubt on the credibility of Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald's prosecution that Justice Department guidelines require him to dismiss his indictment of Lewis "Scooter" Libby...

"Under Justice Department guidelines, when [Fitzgerald] has reason to believe that some fact that he has relied on is false, such as Mr. Libby being the first person to tell a reporter, he has a duty to go back and if necessary, if that creates reasonable doubt about other things in the indictment he must dismiss it."
^
^
Who are you talking about?...the accusers or the accused. Because we each ask the same q's. This whole GW admin. scandle scheme is tiring....A contract with the pentagon?...OMG!But the real problem in keeping the Libby deal on the front burner is that we seem to uncover more and bigger new scandals every day with these administration folks. The latest being the 100 million dollar pentagon contract to plant fake news stories in Iraqi papers.

How can anyone hope to keep up with the depths these people will sink to???

A case of "be careful what you wish for" syndrome. The investigations started to uncover information about the wrong people. I'm not sure what that means. I will wait and see, because this has had it's legs chopped-off, and wings sprouted in their place.
I cannot wait!Originally posted by oddjob:
PW was wondering why nobody was talking about it when the news broke...even the media stopped talking about it...whats up?![]()
A short C/P from the hearing:
State Prosecutor Fishing:
"I have no idea if Mr. Limbaugh has completed the elements of any offense yet."
Prosecutor asks judge to waive doctor/patient privilege in order to find a crime he admits in open court has not been committed! All this, AFTER seeing my medical records...
For the latest, PDF of hearing held on 11/08/05... Maybee next time, libs.Originally posted by oddjob:

Same goes for the Rush L. case in WP BCH....lol
Impeachment is merely accusation, like an indictment; Clinton was tried by the Senate and acquitted. Don't know whether he really got away with it though.

Wasn't there a fine & court costs for Martha to pay? and didn't we get some free labor out of her during her unfortunate incarceration?

Keep in mind, as we all learned during the Clinton fiasco, that not every lie under oath is "perjury"...

Originally posted by 18rabbit:
Clinton didn't get away with it. He was impeached for lying.

Each of the 11 months of Marthas inconvenience cost the tax payers $182,000.
"I have no idea if" is not an admission that a crime has not been committed. But at least he's sometimes right some of the time - documented!Originally posted by 12Footer:

A short C/P from the hearing:
State Prosecutor Fishing:
"I have no idea if Mr. Limbaugh has completed the elements of any offense yet."
Prosecutor asks judge to waive doctor/patient privilege in order to find a crime he admits in open court has not been committed!
