I bought a bottle of hull cleaner. It say's on the bottle contains hydrofluoric acid. It does not have any instructions on bottle excep for, Wear neoprene gloves and goggles. I am trying to figure out how to use it. Do I wipe it on? Could I use a garden sprayer. should I mix it with water? Do I rinse it off or scrub it. I read about hydrofluoric and it said it is harmful to your lungs if you breath the fumes? I'm wondering if I should even use this product now. 18 dollars for a quart bottle.

Wear a Respirator FOR SURE. GOGGLES and GLOVES TOO!!! Very Noxious fumes.
I'd go to the Dollar Store and buy one of these to apply it.

Let it set for 5 minutes and then rinse and scrub with TSM (Tri Sodium Phosphate) and then finally with fresh water.
